Job summary

Are you passionate about patient safety and precision? Were looking for a dedicated Sterile Services Technician to support our clinical teams by ensuring surgical instruments and medical equipment are expertly cleaned, sterilised, and delivered on time.

Youll be a key part of the Sterile Services Department, maintaining high standards of hygiene and infection control, and helping ensure our hospital departments are always equipped with safe, sterile tools for patient care.

Main duties of the job

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Collect, inspect, clean, and package surgical instruments.
  • Operate washer disinfectors and sterilisers, performing routine checks.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organised working environment.
  • Monitor stock levels and order replacements to ensure continuous supply.
  • Collaborate with clinical departments to meet procedural needs.
  • Uphold infection control standards and complete mandatory training.
  • Support new team members and deputise for the supervisor when needed.

Hourly Rate: £32.42 per hour
