Main duties of the job

Youll play an essential role in creating a positive patient experience, from taking and delivering meal orders to maintaining high standards of hygiene and food safety. As the friendly face of our catering service, youll also support the kitchen team during peak periods and help ensure our service runs smoothly from start to finish.

  • Taking and communicating food and beverage orders for patients, visitors, and staff
  • Preparing trays and trolleys for meal service based on specific dietary needs

  • Ensuring high standards of hygiene, food safety, and customer satisfaction
  • Attending training in food hygiene, allergen awareness, and health & safety
  • Playing an active role in patient feedback and service improvement

Shifts: 7am3pm / 11am7pm / 1pm9pm (Enhanced pay after 7pm)

Contractual Salary: £19,047.60 - £19,266.00 per annum pro-rata (FTE Equivalent £23,809.50 - £24,082.50)
