The salary for this role follows a fixed incremental pay scale, this starts at £29,000 per year, rising yearly in line with our salary progression bands, up to £34,000 per year. This includes a £4,000 per year inner London weighting payment.

Main duties of the job

We are recruiting for a Recovery Worker for our Offender Care team working across both our Richmond and Wandsworth Services. In this role you will provide an excellent and first-class range of drug and alcohol treatment options, with a focus on criminal justice and specific Through the Gate transition work. The successful candidate will support offenders, on release from custody, to access ongoing drug and alcohol treatment.

At our services in Richmond and Wandsworth, WithYou works closely with the lead provider, South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust and partners, St Mungos and the charity CDARS (Community Drug and Alcohol Recovery Services) providing free and confidential support to adults in Wandsworth experiencing challenges with drugs and alcohol. As a leading charity supporting people with drug, alcohol, and mental health challenges, we operate over 80 services across England and Scotland, providing free and confidential support to more than 100,000 people each year.

Our Recovery Workers play a vital role in supporting clients to identify their goals, ambitions, and passions. You'll work with them to create the best treatment plan for their needs and to guide them on their path to recovery.

This role is full time and fixed term for 12 months from the date of appointment.
