Main duties of the job
WithYou in Redcar and Cleveland is a free and confidential service for people affected by drugs and alcohol. WithYou in Redcar & Cleveland is part of the THRIVE partnership, an integrated substance use, domestic abuse and education/recovery support service. WithYou, Harbour and ITS in Redcar and Cleveland are part of the THRIVE partnership. This integrated domestic abuse and substance use service are looking to recruit a multi-skilled staff members to deliver substance use and domestic abuse interventions within the local authority safeguarding teams. The staff will be responsible to respond quickly to high risk safeguarding situations, making sure that people receive appropriate support and guidance. About the role Our Recovery Workers play a vital role in supporting clients to identify their goals, ambitions, and passions. You'll work with them to create the best treatment plan for their needs and to guide them on their path to recovery. This is a frontline role at WithYou, where you will provide continuity of care through effective partnership working, care coordination, key work responsibilities, and intervention delivery. You will manage an active caseload, connecting quickly with clients and ensuring they're always treated with respect and dignity.
