Job summary

As Team Leader you will directly link in to the Service Manager, as well as working collaboratively with other Team Leaders, Operations Managers and our partner organisations, to ensure clear communication and meet the delivery needs of this service to support our clients to achieve positive outcomes.

Main duties of the job

We are looking for an enthusiastic Team Leader with a can-do attitude. The Young Persons Team Leader will lead our brilliant YP team who support young people and families experiencing challenges with drugs or alcohol. Our Stoke Mind and Body service also sits in this team, providing community based support, information, training, education and guidance to young individuals in relation to self-harm and risk taking behaviour. The YP Team Leader will work alongside colleagues in the CDAS service and the wider YP directorate. The successful applicant will have a good understanding of the issues facing young people along with a strong contextual safeguarding knowledge. You and your team will be responsible for delivering against targets, always ensuring the service is complying with all of the necessary requirements that arise from working in a social care setting. There'll be data analysis and administration tasks to deal with too, but that's all part of this busy and varied job that you take in your stride.

Stoke-on-Trent's Community Drug and Alcohol Service (CDAS), a partnership between With You and BAC O'Connor, provides a free, confidential and friendly service to anyone experiencing challenges with drugs or alcohol. As a leading charity supporting people with drug, alcohol, and mental health challenges, we operate over 80 services across England and Scotland, providing free and confidential support to more than 100,000 people each year.
