Job summary

Our Stoke Community Drug and Alcohol service are looking for an experienced Data Officer to join our team. If you are looking to join a forward thinking, values-driven charity, we'd love to hear from you.

Main duties of the job

This role requires an analytical mind and an eye for detail, to enable you to produce reports and manipulate data from a variety of sources. As Data Officer, you will provide regular updates to local management and will get involved with a variety of projects across the service. As well as this, you will support the administration of the Data Management system and will ensure good working relationships are established and maintained both internally and externally with service providers, commissioners and other interested parties. This is a varied and interesting opportunity for someone who is passionate about the importance of maintaining accurate data and being part of a collaborative team. Job responsibilities

As a leading charity supporting people with drug, alcohol, and mental health challenges, we operate over 80 services across England and Scotland, providing free and confidential support to more than 100,000 people each year.

The closing date for applications is 6th May 2025. Please note that this role may close early should sufficient applications be received, so early application is advised. High degree of analytical and problem solving skills
We are looking for positive and motivated candidates who are able to communicate with a wide range of people and in different settings. You will also be results driven, highly organised with excellent time management skills.
There will be a two stage interview process. This will include a one hour Excel based data task to assess your data skill level, including the use of AVERAGEIF, CONCATENATE, COUNTIFS, IF, SUM, VLOOKUP, Conditional Formatting, Chart and Pivot Table creation.
