Job summary

WithYou is a leading national charity providing evidence based support for mental health, substance use, and family services across the UK. This role is for a Senior Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner to join our Kent Talking Therapies service.

Main duties of the job

You will provide high volume low intensity interventions based on self management interventions to clients with mild to moderate anxiety and depression, while maintaining confidentiality at all times. The postholder will be undertaking a variety of duties and responsibilities, from carrying out patient - centred interviews to keeping up to date on new recommendations/guidelines to recruitment and induction of new PWPs. A key part of this role is to provide case management for qualified and trainee Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners and working closely with other members of the team ensuring appropriate step-up and step-down arrangements are in place to maintain a stepped care approach. You will also be required to make decisions on suitability of service for new referrals, while adhering to referral protocols and continuously ensuring the service is fully accessible by making information available and distributing information accordingly.

  • Deliver an in house high quality monthly CPD programme covering a range of topics such as refreshers of key PWP interventions, working with clients from neurodivergent and LGBTQI+ communities.
  • Career development opportunities such as accessing Long-Term Conditions or PWP Supervisor training, becoming a Champion, or applying for roles such as Step 2 Manager or Step 2 Clinical Lead
  • We also lead interface meetings with Secondary Care services, to improve client journey
