This role is for a Senior Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner to join our Kent Talking Therapies service.

Main duties of the job

You will provide high volume low intensity interventions based on self management interventions to clients with mild to moderate anxiety and depression, while maintaining confidentiality at all times. The postholder will be undertaking a variety of duties and responsibilities, from carrying out patient - centred interviews to keeping up to date on new recommendations/guidelines to recruitment and induction of new PWPs. A key part of this role is to provide case management for qualified and trainee Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners and working closely with other members of the team ensuring appropriate step-up and step-down arrangements are in place to maintain a stepped care approach. You will also be required to make decisions on suitability of service for new referrals, while adhering to referral protocols and continuously ensuring the service is fully accessible by making information available and distributing information accordingly.

We also lead interface meetings with Secondary Care services, to improve client journey

Additional Information This is a permanent, part-time role for 30 hours per week. The position will be home based, but travel within Kent will be needed for in person client work in the community, team training and meetings.
