Job summary

We are recruiting for Recovery Workers for our Offender Care team based at our Battersea and Richmond services, providing an excellent and first-class range of drug and alcohol treatment options, with a focus on criminal justice.

Main duties of the job

As a Recovery Worker you will be providing support and advice to people who are experiencing difficulties due to substance misuse. You will be working within a highly skilled and knowledgeable multi-disciplinary team who will support you in your development and your ability to deliver the best care you can to our service users.

The Wandsworth drug and alcohol service is based in Battersea and is located 10 minutes walk from Clapham Junction train station, which has a busy local shopping district. The Richmond drug and alcohol service is based in Twickenham, not far from the river and the high street and less than a 10 minute walk from Twickenham train station The right person should be a self-starter, enthusiastic, motivated, caring and creative ideally with experience of working in a substance misuse environment.
