Job summary

Our team in Truro, Cornwall, are recruiting Recovery Workers, to join them in providing high-quality recovery care to a diverse client group.

Main duties of the job

Our Recovery Workers work with our clients to help them determine what their goals, ambitions, and passions are, working with them to create the best treatment plan for their needs and to get them back onto the path to recovery. This is an integral role for WithYou - as a frontline worker, you will deliver continuity of care through effective partnership working, care coordination, delivery of interventions, and key work responsibilities. You will manage an active caseload of clients, connecting quickly with the people we support, and treating them respectfully and with dignity.

We're looking for demonstrable experience working within the health, social care, criminal justice, or other specialist setting, ideally with those with substance misuse issues.     • Have attained ONC/NVQ level 3 or be willing to achieve this within 12 months.
    • Should you be successful in your application, you will be required to provide 3 years' worth of references and where applicable, will need to undergo an enhanced DBS check.

    Experience

    • Have demonstrable experience of working or volunteering in health, social care, criminal justice, or other specialist setting
    • Have a driving license with access to a vehicle
    • Successful track record of working or volunteering with people who have experienced Substance Misuse issues
    • Have the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients and colleagues alike
