Job summary

As a Recovery Worker you will be providing support and advice to people who are experiencing difficulties due to substance misuse. You will have your own caseload, working as part of our team and alongside other social care services to identify how we can help. You will develop plans with your clients to help them get their lives back to where they want them to be.

Main duties of the job

This role is about: understanding your clients keeping them safe creating a plan they can achieve with your support checking in with them and reviewing their progress keeping accurate and timely records of your contact with them working effectively with other social care providers e.g. Housing, to cover all aspects of their successful recovery continuously learning and reflecting to improve the outcomes for your clients supporting your colleagues across the service to deliver excellent care

Well Together is an exciting new project that is being established as a pilot in the area. We will be working with the local mental health treatment provider to provide an intensive service for people with comorbid issues with mental health and substance misuse.     • You will also need to meet our safeguarding requirements of a satisfactory enhanced DBS check
