Job summary

The Regional Marketing and Communications Officer will support CDAS to create content consistent with our brand, including producing high quality, engaging and creative marketing and communication materials such as press releases, leaflets, Q&As, blogs, photography and videos.

Main duties of the job

As part of this role, you will be responsible for the delivery of multimedia content such as film, photo, GIFs, animations, illustrations and graphics, across all marketing and communications activities within the organisation. You will ensure that our content enables us to secure media coverage, increased engagement on our social media channels, market and communicate our services, drive brand awareness and connect with our key audiences, whilst building and maintaining productive relationships with relevant internal and external stakeholders.

Stoke-on-Trent's Community Drug and Alcohol Service (CDAS), a partnership between With You and BAC O'Connor, provides a free, confidential and friendly service to anyone experiencing challenges with drugs or alcohol. We are recruiting for an enthusiastic and creative individual to join us as a Regional Marketing and Communications Officer, to support the delivery of our marketing and communications strategy in the Stoke-on-Trent area. If you are looking to join a forward thinking, values-driven charity and have the passion and expertise to drive our marketing and communications offering, we'd love to hear from you. Please note that this role may close early should sufficient applications be received, so early application is advised. This is a full time, permanent, hybrid position, with a 50/50 split between working from our Stoke Community Drug and Alcohol service and from home. The salary for this role is £25,000 - £27,000 per annum. Benefits

    • A relevant degree or equivalent experience.
    • Should you be successful in your application, you will be required to provide 3 years worth of references and where applicable, will need to undergo an enhanced DBS check.

You will have strong working knowledge of social media, broadcast, print and online media, as well as excellent news sense and awareness of key issues. This is a busy service, with multiple priorities ongoing and huge plans for growth, so it's important that you are highly organised and able to manage your time effectively.
