Job summary

Our Glasgow Recovery Hubs are recruiting for Recovery Workers to join them in providing high quality recovery care to a diverse client group. If you are an enthusiastic and creative individual and are passionate about changing people's lives for the better, we'd love to hear from you.

Main duties of the job

You will work as part of a team with the aims of: understanding your clients keeping them safe creating a plan they can achieve with your support checking in with them and reviewing their progress keeping accurate and timely records of your contact with them working effectively with other social care providers e.g. Housing, to cover all aspects of their successful recovery continuously learning and reflecting to improve the outcomes for your clients supporting your colleagues across the service to deliver excellent care There will be assessments to carry out and records you need to keep and update, that's all part of our professional commitment and service to our clients and commissioners.

We are looking for enthusiastic and dynamic Recovery Workers who are motivated to work as part of a thriving and diverse team, ensuring recovery opportunities are available for individuals at any point in their recovery journey. You will strive to work collaboratively with partners and communities, ensuring that we are as accessible as possible and that the principles of a Recovery Oriented System of Care and true person centred practice are at the heart of all that we do. Our vibrant and busy Glasgow Hubs provide support to people concerned about their own or someone else's alcohol or drug use. We have a service base in Maryhill and one in Bridgeton but much of our work is carried out in the local community. We work with people at all stages on their journey providing both one to one appointments and group work. We are determined and always professional in our approach to each and every case and we never judge, we're just here to help.     • Already be registered with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) or meet the registration requirements
