Our team in Liverpool are recruiting for an experienced Pharmacy Technician, to join them in providing high quality professional medicines management advice and support to our services. Main duties of the job
This role is full time for 37.5 hours per week and will require travel to our 3 services throughout Liverpool.
The postholder will be working within the well-established and award-winning Medicines Management Team, supporting the organisation to ensure compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements. As part of this role, you will deliver safe, efficient, and cost-effective medicines management systems and processes, ensuring that controlled drugs and stationery are handled and stored securely. It will be vital for you to develop strong and positive relationships with key stakeholders for the continuity of service, including organisations such as Local Pharmaceutical Committees, Community Pharmacies and Local Intelligence Networks. You will be joining an increasing workforce of pharmacy professionals across our organisation, with opportunities to attend our regular network meetings and external conferences.

You will be a compassionate and motivated Pharmacy Technician, registered with the GPhC and holding the NVQ Level 3 Pharmacy Services BTEC Pharmacy Technician or equivalent. Ideally, you will have a minimum of two years' post qualification experience, although we are open to conversations with all suitably qualified candidates, as full training will be given. Working knowledge of substance misuse would be advantageous.
This is a busy team, with multiple priorities ongoing, so it's important that you are highly organised and able to manage your time effectively. You will have strong problem solving skills and the ability to respond to sudden unexpected demands.
