Main duties of the job

You will use your knowledge and experience relating to the healthcare industry or similar to generate new business opportunities, converting and overseeing the development and implementation of business strategies aligned with the companys objectives.

Job responsibilities

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The list of duties and responsibilities, which follow, represents the broad range of tasks, which may be required to be undertaken either routinely or periodically, with consultation and agreement by the post holder.

  • To develop business strategies aligned with the companys objectives, whilst considering factors such as market trends, competitive landscape and resource allocation
  • To analyse business needs, market dynamics and business opportunities to develop those strategies that help to sustain, develop and grow our business
  • To negotiate terms with customer and other stakeholders in conjunction with Senior Management Team
  • To build ongoing relationships from prospect to initial contact, to new business - through regular communication, meetings and site visits
  • To research and identify new markets where the organisation can expand business
  • Accurately forecast and deliver revenue against sales plan
  • Collating statistics, including sales projections and providing regular reports when required for EMT and Board Level
  • Work closely with internal teams to produce tender submissions that meet the organisations expectations
  • Support Senior Management Team with commercial direction and complex negotiations
  • Any other reasonable duties that fall within the nature of this post.

BARDOC promotes a culture of being open, honest and transparent. Patients are provided with care that is safe, effective and based on best practice. Where any incidents occur that may have the potential to cause harm, BARDOC will act in a timely manner, investigating, reflecting, learning and where appropriate to do so, share information to reduce the risk of reoccurrence. BARDOC understands that there are two different types of candour which are statutory duty and professional duty.

BARDOC is regulated by the CQC under the statutory duty of candour and certain staff at BARDOC will also fall under the professional duty of candour.

CORPORATE RESPONSIBILITY
