Job summary
The successful applicant will deal with a wide range of health needs in a primary care setting, ensuring the highest standards of care for all registered patients on the practice list.
The role is for 4 to 8 sessions per week.
Main duties of the job
In accordance with the practice timetable, as agreed, the post-holder will make themselves available to undertake a variety of duties, including surgery consultations, telephone consultations and queries, checking and signing repeat prescriptions and dealing with queries, paperwork and correspondence in a timely fashion.

- On Medical Performers List
- Annual appraisal and revalidation, including training for appraisal (when appropriate)
- Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check
- UK driving license
- UK work permit (as required)
- Willing to undertake continuous personal development and ongoing mandatory training modules
Desirable
- Evidence of continued professional development
- MRCGP
- Experience of appraisal in practice or other healthcare setting
- Additional clinical skills beyond General Practice
