Job summary

We, at Longfield Community Hospice, are looking for an experienced Leader for our Wellbeing Service.

The ideal candidate will probably be a Registered Nurse or AHP who is committed to achieving the highest quality patient-centred care.

Main duties of the job

You will lead, alongside the Director of Hospice at Home, the hospices palliative and end of life care provision for patients, carers and their families, ensuring it is integrated with and adds value to services provided by others across Gloucestershire. You will be working with a dedicated and experienced team of clinicians, counsellors, complimentary therapists, administrators and volunteers and will be responsible for the delivery and development of a high quality, patient-centred, holistic service to patients, carers and their families in all its forms.

The job entails the development of strategies for the hospices palliative care services and, as a member of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), contribute to Longfields overall direction, vision and mission.

Longfield Hospice provides free care, 365 days a year for adults in Gloucestershire living with a life-limiting illness and support for their loved ones and carers.
