Tapping House is a leading provider of palliative care services in Norfolk. We are an independent charity that delivers innovative and specialist rehabilitative therapy, end-of-life care, and bereavement services.

We are seeking a friendly and organised Marketing Administrator to become a valuable part of our marketing and communications team, an excellent opportunity for someone eager to develop their marketing career.

You will support the team with day-to-day tasks, including helping update the website and social media, organising files and content, preparing for events, and providing general admin support. Youll be working closely with Marketing Managers, Head of Brand and other colleagues across the organisation, and youll be given guidance and support to help you grow in confidence and develop your skills.

Job responsibilities

Administrative Support

Provide day to day administrative support to the marketing team, helping with routine tasks to keep marketing activities running smoothly.

Process invoices, raise purchase orders, and assist with monitoring marketing budgets, under guidance.

Help monitor and update marketing management software, supporting team members in using the platform.

Accurately enter and maintain data in CRM systems and marketing databases, supporting data integrity for campaigns and reports.

Digital & Content Assistance

Assist with uploading and scheduling approved content on the Tapping House website and social media channels to ensure timely publication.

Organise and maintain the digital asset library (photos, videos, graphics), ensuring files are tagged correctly and easily accessible.

Support the creation, scheduling, and deployment of email newsletters and campaigns using email marketing platforms.

Help create simple digital graphics and presentations using templates (e.g Canva) under the guidance of the Content & Social Media Lead.

Event & Relationship Support

Provide logistical and administrative support for Tapping House events, including managing registrations, preparing materials, and assisting with set up and teardown.

Coordinate printing and distribution of marketing materials to internal teams and external partners.

Liaise with external suppliers (e.g printers, merchandise providers), assisting with quotes and delivery follow-up.

Support communications with internal staff and external community contacts to build relationships as directed.

Reporting & Monitoring Assistance

Assist in gathering data for marketing reports, including campaign performance, website traffic, and social media engagement.

Help monitor social media channels for mentions and basic sentiment, flagging any significant activity to the Content & Social Media Lead.

Other Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain a good understanding of Tapping Houses work and mission.

Work collaboratively with staff, volunteers, and supporters of Tapping House.

Help promote awareness of Tapping House, its services, and strategy.

Carry out other duties as directed by the Line Manager, with agreement.
