Job summary
We
have an exciting opportunity to join our shops team as a Shop Manager,
responsible for our shop on Lumley Road in the seaside town of Skegness.
Working with your Area Manager and the support of a Sales Assistant, you will play a key role
in generating care-giving funds for the Hospice, managing the day-to-day
running of a retail shop.
Being responsible for income generation and cost
control, recruiting, training and managing a team of volunteers and engaging
with the local community to raise awareness of the support St Barnabas
delivers, following the Trust’s values and acting with positivity and
professionalism.
Main duties of the job
Qualifications and Experience:
Applications are welcome from candidates with:
- GCSEs at grade C or above in at least English and Maths or equivalent standard of education or vocational qualification.
- You will have previous experience of people management, as well as a proven targeted sales background.
- A passion for charity retail, with social media, fashion and collectable knowledge and experience is desirable.

About us
Salary: £20,500 - £21,700 per annum pro rata (plus contributory pension scheme or
continuation of NHS pension)
Buying and
selling of annual leave and lease car schemes are options available to
