Job summary
We have a vacancy for an MDT Administrator to work as part of the Community Clinical Services Team (North West).
The MDT Administrator will be responsible for the provision of administrative and secretarial support to the Palliative Care Consultant, Specialist Nurse Practitioner, Senior Clinical Service Manager and other senior clinicians, as directed.
A core aspect of this role will involve the coordination and provision of administrative support to the Specialist Palliative Care MDT’s.
You will be responsible for liaising with a range of health and social care professionals, to contribute to effective, integrated working, in the community, supporting the provision of high standards of specialist palliative care.
Main duties of the job
Qualifications and Experience:
Applicants must have administration experience within a multi-functional office environment and possess.
- Key skills in Maths and English GCSE grades A – C or equivalent
- NVQ or QCF Level 2 in administration or equivalent
- Computer literacy to CLAIT / ECDL or equivalent
- Experience in facilitating meetings including the preparation of Agenda items and minutes.
- Competent in a range of software applications i.e. Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel
- Experience in using electronic patient record systems is desirable
About us
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 22.5 hrs per week (Monday – Friday)
Salary: £20, 500 - £21,700 pro rata, (plus contributory pension scheme or continuation of NHS pension)
