Job summary
Due to an internal promotion, we have a vacancy
for a Volunteer Services Administrator to work as part of the Volunteer
Services Team.
You will be a key member of the Volunteer Services Team and act
as the first point of contact for all volunteering related enquiries, dealing
with straightforward volunteer queries in a timely and professional manner and
escalating complex issues as and when appropriate.
Main duties of the job
This role will be responsible for for the successful completion and collation of all required
recruitment paperwork plus paperwork required at other periods including
Mandatory Training, Driver Documentation and DBS certification, ensuring that
there is no break in cover for any of those.
Qualifications and Experience:
Applications are welcome from candidates with:
- a good level of English and Maths (GCSE grade C or equivalent) attention to detail
experience in
the use of MS Word, Excel and Outlook plus database management.

detail is vital, as is a confident and adaptive method of communication,
outstanding organisational skills and the ability to manage and prioritise own
workload.
experience working in an office admin role, especially concerning
staff or volunteers is an advantage.
About us
Hours: 33.5 per week
Salary: £19,000 - £20,200 per annum pro rata (plus contributory pension scheme or continuation of NHS pension)
Buying and selling of annual leave and lease car schemes are options available to qualifying new employees.
