Job summary
Are you an Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist who is looking to develop your skills in Palliative Rehabilitation and specialising in a role within St Barnabas Hospice? We have two positions as follows:
Our new Wellbeing Hub will be opening later this year and the successful candidates will have the opportunity to develop the service for the people of Boston which will be the focus for one post, with the other focusing on providing care in North Lincoln/Lincolnshire.
This is an exciting opportunity for autonomous, highly motivated and dynamic Physiotherapist to work within St Barnabas Community Services. You will work within a supportive Multi-Disciplinary Team - delivering Palliative Rehabilitation to those patients with a range of Complex Symptom Management needs
Qualifications and Experience:
Applications are welcome from candidates with:
- Degree (BSc/MSc) in Occupational Therapy or Physiotherapy, with current registration with the HCPC
- Experience with management of Respiratory, Oncological, Frailty, Neurological Conditions
- Recent post-registration experience in a relevant area; i.e. Acute Medicine, Neurology, Oncology, Palliative Care or Community Therapies
Main duties of the job
You will be able to:
- Develop Palliative Rehabilitation and Occupational Therapy/ Physiotherapy Practice in line with current and appropriate Evidence Base
- Perform the role with empathy and consideration for the needs of a range of patients and their families
- Adapt effectively to varying levels of demand and to support less experienced staff to maintain high levels of care

Salary: £31,218 (+ weekend unsocial hour’s enhancement of 30% and contributory pension scheme or continuation of NHS pension)
