Job summary
We have a vacancy for a Head of Finance to work as part of the Finance Department. Reporting into the Director of Finance and Performance, this role will form part of the senior management team, providing operational and strategic planning and management to the Trust on its finances, whilst providing high quality professional financial reports and constructive advice to the executive team, managers and budget holders within the Trust.
In conjunction with the Accounts Team Leader, this role will oversee the day-to-day running of the Finance function, including payroll. There is a real opportunity to gain exposure and work with an executive team, Board and senior management, and to work and progress within this people-focused organisation.
Key Responsibilities will include
- Preparing the annual report and accounts and overseeing the audit
- Preparing budgets and forecasts across the organisation
- Provide analysis and information for the Company Board
- Driving improvements across systems and processes
- Produce the management accounts and suggest improvements where necessary
- Managing the Finance team, encouraging development and providing high quality line management and technical support
Given the nature of the charity, the role provides an opportunity to be involved in a full range of financial activities across the company.

Salary:
Starting at £47,000, generous pension scheme, 28 days plus Bank Holidays, flexible working arrangement.
