Job summary

IC24 is seeking an experienced Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) or Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) to join their growing Primary Care team at Allied Medical Practice. This is a key clinical leadership role within a practice that is undergoing significant development, making this a genuinely exciting time to join the team. The successful candidate will work autonomously, using advanced clinical expertise to deliver high-quality, patient-centric care, and will also play an important role in strengthening the nursing and HCA teams through leadership, mentorship, and clinical oversight.

Main duties of the job

In this role, the Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) or Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) will provide advanced clinical assessment, diagnosis, and management for patients in primary care, acting as an Independent Prescriber. They will lead and support the nursing and HCA team, contribute to improved clinical outcomes through audit, governance and service improvement, and work flexibly within Allied Medical Practice.

  • Registered healthcare professional (NMC, HCPC, GPhC etc.) with a Masterslevel qualification.
  • Independent Prescriber.
  • Significant autonomous practice experience in primary care or similar.
  • Strong experience in LongTerm Conditions and Womens Health.
  • Clinical leadership experience.
  • Excellent communication skills.

Desirable:

  • Teaching or mentorship qualification.
  • Evidence of service improvement and innovation.
