Job summary

As a Clinical Governance Support Officer, you'll be at the forefront of our quality improvement initiatives. You will work closely with the Primary Care Quality team, providing essential support in complaints handling, incident investigation, RFI/DSAR requests/admin, clinical audit administration, and patient satisfaction. You'll also contribute to the development of key policies and procedures that guide our operations.

Main duties of the job

The key responsibilities for this role include supporting the PC Operations Manager, Clinical Leads, Registered Manager, and Practice Managers as needed. The role involves overseeing the IT support system (Ulysses) for Clinical Governance management for the PC Group, including designing and providing reports on incidents, complaints, information requests, and risks. Additionally, it includes leading the development, implementation, and maintenance of communication and data management systems for the PC Group to ensure effective record-keeping, reporting, and evidence of compliance. Support for senior managers will include action planning, alerting them to upcoming compliance deadlines, and gathering necessary evidence. The role also requires inputting complaints, compliments, and incidents into the Ulysses database, keeping accurate records of any agreed actions, notes, phone contacts, progress on cases, and outcomes.

Hours Available 37.5 hours per week
