We are looking for Receptionist to support our GP surgery Allied Medical Practice in Brighton.

Do you have excellent customer service skills, are flexible, adaptable, have a keen eye for detail and enjoy a mixed role? If so we would love to hear from you.

IC24 is committed to improving access to health and social care for our patients and reducing the demand on secondary care services. IC24 provides services to over 6 million patients, including primary care, GP led out-of-hours services, NHS 111, and secondary care support services.

Location Brighton

Hours Available 37.5 hours per week and 27 hours per week available

The post holder will be responsible for:

To support with a range of administration duties.

Prescriptions, checking against patient request that patient is due and ordering and sending to the GP for signing.

Administration tasks. Calling and booking patients in for appointments and procedures as requested by clinical/ management team.

  • Good standard of education. Maths and English GCSE or equivalent grade A-C.

Experience

  • Practical experience of working with others.
  • Experience of working under own initiative.
  • Experience of using IT systems in a working environment.

Desirable

  • Understanding basic medical terminology.
  • Experience of customer service.
  • Experience coding and/or summarising medical records.
  • Experience working with partners of Primary Care (e.g., Secondary Care, Social care, Integrated Care Boards).
