We are looking for a Clinical Safety Officer to join our growing healthcare software business. you will work as part of a dynamic clinical and non-clinical team and will have an extensive understanding of clinical safety and be responsible for the efficient and effective management of the Digital Clinical Safety on behalf of CLEO Systems.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing leadership, guidance, support specialist knowledge particularly within ePMA (Electronic Prescribing and Medicines Management) solutions and clinical safety review. Along with approval for the implementation of our digital solutions and upgrades with existing solutions across CLEO Systems.

You will be an experienced registered Clinician who holds and maintains current registration with an appropriate professional body. You will have a driven and enthusiastic approach to delivering end results through your ability to provide high quality information, analytical interpretation, and communication skills to support the implementation of our digital solutions.

Main duties of the job

You could be the ideal person for this role if you can demonstrate that you have;

  • Have at least two years' experience of working in the digital health sector (NHS or software manufacturer).
  • Be an experienced clinician currently registered with a professional body.
  • Have been exposed to clinical safety and risk management in health IT (hazard logs and clinical safety cases).
  • Experience of managing stakeholders with the NHS or software manufacturer industry.

Hours Available 16 hours (4 sessions) per week

  • Experienced CSO with portfolio of evidence to demonstrate past practice and achievements.
  • Clinical Risk Management experience.
  • Experience in strategy development and implementation.
  • Working knowledge of all UK legislation relating to Clinical Safety.
  • Experience working with and implementing ePMA (Electronic Prescribing and Medicines Management) solutions with NHS Trusts.

Desirable

  • Minimum of three years working as a Pharmacist.

Qualifications

Essential

  • Registered healthcare professional with current UK registration.

Desirable

  • Registered Healthcare professional with relevant professional body.
  • Masters in leadership, Change, Service Transformation or equivalent experience.
  • Project management qualification, such as Prince 2 or Agile.
