We have a unique and exciting opportunity within our Norfolk and Waveney regional team. This is a key role that will deputise and support the Regional Quality Director in leading and driving a philosophy of continuous improvement.

You will work with the regional management team to effectively lead and manage all non-medical clinical colleagues across the Norfolk and Waveney Urgent Care contracts, including our NHS 111 call centre in Norwich. You will also provide professional support, clinical innovation and support clinical governance to ensure safe and effective delivery of care to our patients.

This role will be based in our Norfolk and Waveney regional office and travel will be required across our urgent care bases in the region. In return we offer a competitive package, development opportunities and the chance to join the generous NHS pension scheme.

The post holder will provide professional support, clinical innovation and support clinical governance to ensure safe and effective delivery of care to patients. You will be an experienced Nurse or Paramedic and as part of the clinical and operational team you will provide senior clinical oversight of the Contact Centre to support the safety of the service and mitigate risk and OOH clinical service. You will also be responsible for the supervision and first line management of Senior Clinical Advisors working within the NHS 111 Contact Centre providing advice, guidance, motivation and leadership to the team and the Advanced Clinical Practitioners, Urgent Care Practitioners working in the OOH service.

  • Significant post registration experience.
  • Experience of managing staff.
  • Primary Care experience.
  • Experience of managing diverse and multiple professional relationships.
