is looking for a Test Engineer to support the testing of our Booking and Client Administration Systems (BIS and CAS). This is a part-time role for 15 hours per week, working remotely, with occasional travel to BPAS units. A detailed working pattern can be found below.
About the role
As a Test Engineer, you will create and maintain testing plans for full system, build-specific and regression testing, define and document testing processes to ensure efficient and thorough quality assurance. You will work closely with Software Engineers to identify, document, and resolve issues.
This is a vital role within our team, helping to ensure the stability and effectiveness of our systems, which directly impact the quality of service we provide to clients.
About You:
To be successful at this role, you'll be a detail-oriented and methodical professional with a strong background in system testing.
You will also have an ability to multi-task, prioritise tasks effectively, and maintain detailed documentation.
Main duties of the job

Define
processes for when each kind of testing is appropriate and how it should be
recorded, including re-test plans
Ensure products meet established requirements and standards as part of the delivery and signoff process
Work in a
high-pressure environment where deadlines are often short (especially when
clinical risk to a patient is involved) and testing is vital to the success
of the software deliveries
Support the Administration and Testing Lead with helpdesk duties and assist in resolving urgent system issues.
