Join our dynamic team at BPAS (British Pregnancy Advisory Service) as an IT Network Manager.
In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining our IT network infrastructure, implementing and managing our unified communications platform, and providing IT support and training to our users.
You will need to coordinate external support contracts and assist the Associate Director of IT Networks & Support to design, implement and maintain BPAS IT infrastructure & equipment.
You will bring Proven IT experience in support/analyst or equivalent roles, network management and development, network security, and administering and maintaining Cisco Firewalls and Intrusion Prevention Systems.
You will also have knowledge in Cisco network administration, MS-Windows operating systems, MS-Windows server technology, enterprise-level switching technologies, mobile device management solutions, and internet technology

Main duties of the job
As well as Managing BPAS' IT network infrastructure, including security systems, firewalls, and intrusion prevention systems you will also be required to -
- Design, implement, and manage BPAS' network infrastructure, including cloud migration as required.
- Configure and maintain BPAS' unified telephony and mobile device management systems.
- Provide network and security solutions to integrate with BPAS' IT systems.
- Document and ensure adherence to BPAS' equipment and cabling standards.
- Provide 2nd and 3rd line support to resolve complex networking issues.
- Update firmware and operating systems of networking equipment to maintain compliance with cybersecurity standards.
- Liaise with third-party suppliers to configure NHS Network (HSCN) services and bring new services online.
- Configure, manage, and maintain BPAS' Azure network services, including Express Route.
- Coordinate and prioritize BPAS IT support in collaboration with the Associate Director of IT Networks & Support, IT Help Desk manager, and IT Engineers.
- Coordinate IT support for BPAS users, act as a point of contact for hardware and software support, and ensure timely resolution of reported issues.
- Assist in managing IT suppliers, preparing IT budgets, and monitoring external hardware support contracts.
- Conduct regular IT audits to maintain compliance with policies, security requirements, data protection legislation, and licensing requirements.

- Knowledge:
- Cisco network administration, MS-Windows operating systems, MS-Windows server technology, enterprise-level switching technologies, mobile device management solutions, and internet technology.
- Cisco Meraki experience hugely beneficial.
- FortiNet Firewall experience beneficial.
- Skills:
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, organizational and administrative competence, report writing, and proficiency in spreadsheets, databases, word processing, and presentation software.
- Certifications
- (Desirable): Cisco CCNA certification, degree in computer science, membership in BCS.
- Personal Traits:

Further Information
Location: Hybrid working. Working from home with 1-2 days per week in
Leamington Spa Head office (CV34 6RQ) with the flexibility to attend for meetings and to
suit the business needs. Travel to BPAS unit locations when required.
Salary: up to £50,000 per
annum dependent upon experience, skills and qualification
Hours Per Week: 36 hours with the expectation of
covering oncall on a rota basis.
