Please note: This is a hybrid role with 1 day per week in our Head office in Leamington Spa. During the induction/training period more days in the office will be required.
Are you an experienced HR professional with a strong background in leading HR teams and managing HR systems?
As an HR Service Manager at BPAS you will lead a team of HR administrators, ensuring the delivery of day-to-day transactional support for the organisation's business objectives.
The role:
This role requires an in-depth understanding of HR best practices to enable you to work closely with your team and managers, providing guidance and advice on HR processes and systems, as well as ensuring compliance with BPAS HR policies.
You'll be comfortable hitting the ground running & using your own initiative to manage and improve HR systems and processes. As the HR Service Manager, you will oversee HR services, including data management, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring a high-quality, customer-centric approach.
About You:
We are seeking a confident and articulate HR professional with proven experience in leading HR teams and managing HR systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in generalist HR advisory roles or HR business partnering, with extensive hands-on experience.
We are also looking for:
- Strong understanding of UK Employment Law and practical knowledge of HR best practices.
- Experience in process mapping and improvements.
- Good communication & interpersonal skills
Main duties of the job
- Leading the provision
and continual review of a high quality, customer centric service through a team
of HR administrators
- Overseeing the team
mailbox to ensure a helpdesk style approach to managing priorities and
establishing workload.
- Owning and
overseeing the production and presentation of Key KPI and monthly HR data and
analysing for recommendations and implementing improvements.
- Owning the Core HR
and time & attendance systems and processes to ensure information flows
appropriately to meet payroll deadlines and to ensure maximum efficiency.
- Developing and
maintaining a culture of continuous improvement in HR processes, driving
efficiency and employee experience, including exploring system functionality to
support and drive improvements.
