Do you enjoy working within a busy office or reception environment, where no two days are the same?
We are looking for an experienced Admin Assistant to come and join our Birmingham Central and South units for 29 hours per week. Your main unit will be Birmingham Central with the expectation to cover at Birmingham South when required.
You'll work as part of the team in carrying out administration tasks in an efficient and friendly manner ensuring that clients feel accepted, supported, and confident about BPAS services.
Hours: 29 hours per week
Shift pattern listed below:
- Tuesday - 08:30 to 16:30
- Wednesday - 08:30 to 16:30
- Thursday - 08:30-18:00
- Saturday - 08:30-13:30
About You:
You will have proven experience of working within an office environment, where you've carried out administration duties. You will be an excellent communicator both internally and externally and will demonstrate a friendly and positive attitude when interacting with clients, colleagues, and external parties.
Main duties of the job
Day to day duties:

Answer and direct telephone queries, liaising with both internal and
external colleagues, as necessary.

Accurately check or complete BPAS and legal paperwork, ensuring all
relevant documentation is available for the clients episode of care.

Monitor, edit and amend appointment list, using as appropriate BPAS booking
system, informing clients if changes to their appointment become necessary.

Assist in the monitoring, control and ordering of stock, sort and
distribute incoming mail and prepare and despatch statistical information and
reports.
We are also looking

Experience of dealing face to face with patients who may be upset,
within a care environment.

Knowledge of clerical procedures including checking documentation,
telephone, and reception duties.

Good attention to detail, supportive towards colleagues and clients and
is an effective team player.
