Job summary
This role is designed to support GP practices within the
Primary Care Network (PCN) by helping with important administrative tasks.
Working centrally at our main Southport office suite, as part of the Digital Clinical Hub team, you will assist in
handling clinical correspondence for Southport and Formby GP practices.
We are looking for people who have experience of using EMIS and a
good understanding of medical terminology. If you're eager to make a difference

This role is a
new role within the PCN, and although advertised as a full-time role working Monday to Friday, part-time applications will be considered.

Main duties of the job
Key duties include but are not limited to:
- Viewing documents received by the practices, and coding them using established templates and protocols.
- Referring any documents that need further action to the appropriate GP practice team, following clear guidelines.
The role also involves training through the Personalised Care Institute, which will help you develop your skills as part of the Care Co-Ordinators national framework.
You will be working in a growing team consisting of both clinical and non-clinical colleagues, so teamwork and good communication skills are important.
