Job summary

Working with Accelerate will provide a great foundation to your career development into the specialism of community lymphoedema management. We are offering a development programme that will enable you to develop your knowledge and practice in general lymphoedema management. As a member of a specialist team, your skills development will also include the management of lipidemia, legs ulcers and chronic swelling. This role will enhance your career opportunities. It will also offer you a springboard into the specialist roles of lymphoedema and lower leg ulcer management.

You are likely already enjoying the management of leg ulcers and developed skills in compression therapy. In Accelerate you are given time to develop and time to care properly for your patient. This will mean you will have the professional success that you seek as a nurse and to see the change you have brought to the lives of your patients.

Main duties of the job

You will be a nurse with a desire to grow in a specialist field and passionate about personal learning for the benefit of your patient and team. You will have a special interest in people with chronic swelling and a keen interest in compression therapy of all kinds. You will recognise the complexity of peoples lives and your desire to support people in managing this and their condition.
