Nursing Associates are equipped with the knowledge, understanding, skills, attitudes and behaviours relevant to the role; and will act in accordance with the NMC Code: Professional standards of practice and behaviour for nurses, midwives and nursing associates. The Nursing Associate has a breadth of knowledge, providing holistic and person centred care and support for adults in the Community setting. The Nursing Associate will help bridge the gap between Health Care Assistants and Registered Nurses by working independently under the leadership of Registered Nurses, working within the sphere of nursing and care and within all aspects of the nursing process.

We are seeking a Nursing Associate to support an efficient, effective, and quality adult community nursing service in Guildford and Waverley. You will work as a member of the Community Nursing Team, under the supervision of the Registered Nurse and be responsible for the assessment, planning and provision of care, working within the standards and guidelines of the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) predominantly to people in their homes. We have full time, part time and bank hours available Monday to Sunday between 8 am and 8 pm.
