Job summary
As Senior Contracts Manager, you will take ownership of managing complex NHS contracts, Estate and Supplier agreements across HUC's services. You will act as a key interface between HUC and our commissioning partners, working closely with internal stakeholders across operations, clinical governance, clinical, business intelligence, commercial and finance.Your leadership and contractual insight will help ensure that HUC continues to meet and exceed its obligations, innovate within its services, and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with Internal Departments, Commissioners, NHS and non-NHS providers.
Main duties of the job
o Lead the end-to-end management of NHS Standard and non-NHS Contracts, ensuring full compliance with national and local requirements.o Act as the main point of contact for contract discussions, negotiations, variations, and renewals.o Support internal teams by interpreting and advising on contract terms, KPIs, and performance metrics.o Monitor service delivery and performance against contractual requirements, identifying risks and opportunities for improvement.o Provide expert input into service delivery, bids, tenders, and mobilisation of new services in line with HUC's strategic goals.o Work cross-functionally to ensure contract deliverables are met across all services, including NHS 111, OOH, CAS, Dental, Primary Care and UTCs.o Ensure accurate and timely reporting to commissioners and internal departments, supporting the quality and performance agenda.o Provide knowledge and experience to continuously improve and evolve the contracting function across the organisation.
