We have an exciting opportunity for a HRIS & Workforce Information Officeron a 12-month fixed-term contract. The role will support and assist in the deployment, implementation, operational performance, management and utilisation of our electronic workforce systems.

Acting as first-line System Administrator, the primary focus of the role will be to support the Workforce Information Systems Manager in the maintenance of the framework that underpins the electronic workforce system, enabling payroll and Workforce functions.

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience with workforce systems and data management, with a strong analytical approach to interpreting and leveraging data to enable decision making.
  • Exceptional organisational and communication skills -- essential for both independent work and effective collaboration across teams within HUC.
  • A logical, problem-solving mindset with the ability to identify patterns, contain issues, and deliver consistently accurate reporting and insightful analysis sometimes with tight deadlines.
  • Able to demonstrate initiative and critical thinking.
  • Flexibility to work remotely, with occasional travel to HUCS bases as required

This is a hybrid role, with the majority of work from home, but it requires the ability to travel to various HUCS locations when needed and therefore the ability to travel is essential.

Main duties of the job

  • Support the HRIS & Workforce Information Manager in ensuring that all key modules in the HR system are functional, support business growth and allow internal stakeholders to manage their roles efficiently

  • Deputise for the HRIS & Workforce Information Manager as require

  • To produce workforce information reports that include data analysis in line with the workforce KPIs.

  • To provide workforce data that enables the People BPs to produce narrative to the data that supports the delivery of workforce papers/reports which enable stakeholders to make informed business decisions

  • Ensure productive working relationships with internal and external stakeholder

  • Support the HRIS & Workforce Information Manager in the mapping out of processes and workflow

  • Support any future roll out and implementation of further system module

  • Support the monitoring of the success of iTrent modules delivered to the organisation, including Pay, HR, Recruitment, Performance and eventually WFM and rostering modules

  • Work with the wider People team to understand any efficiencies within the team processes that can be achieved through workforce reports and systems.

  • As directed by the HRIS & Workforce Information Manager work with operational management to ensure that meaningful reports are available so that they can effectively manage their services with efficiency and be proactive where necessary

  • Educated to A level or equivalent experience.
  • Working knowledge and experience of HRIS, ideally iTrent
  • Experienced user of Microsoft Office creating Excel Spreadsheets and experience in using databases.
  • Experienced in the manipulation of large amounts of raw complex data to be used in the preparation of reports
  • Good organisational skills and ability to work without supervision and on own initiative.
  • High-level problem solving, negotiation, interpersonal, administrative, analytical, skills.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines.
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail and excellent accuracy.
  • Ability to display evidence of meeting targets and implementing improvements in the workplace.
  • Skilled in translating business processes into workflow within systems
