Main duties of the job
As a Clinical Service Advisor, you will be crucial in patient care, providing accurate advice using NHS Pathways assessments. After verifying the initial evaluations, you will offer tailored guidance to address patients' immediate concerns, ensuring a smooth and safe care process. Your attention to detail will help identify any deterioration, escalate cases when needed, and ensure swift emergency responses for critical conditions.
In addition to your clinical responsibilities, you will contribute to maintaining service quality and safety. This includes addressing clinical issues, complaints, and feedback according to local policies and actively participating in audits to continually improve care. You will also be responsible for safeguarding vulnerable patients, ensuring confidentiality, and following information governance standards.
Working alongside the Clinical Management team, you will help refine clinical advice and processes. You will investigate clinical incidents, assess risks, and prepare reports to address potential issues. Furthermore, you will support the provision of clinical data for external assessments, ensuring high standards of service.
