Job summary
This post involves supporting the STAR project which is a new multi-agency team delivering care to rough sleepers with substance misuse problems with the aim of improving access into substance misuse treatment and improving health. The role involves providing administrative support to the clinicians in managing substance misuse; training will be provided. The post holder will manage queries from patients, support workers and professionals and act as a problem-solver. The role will also involve providing, as needed, reception and general administrative duties for the Clocktower Surgery.
Main duties of the job
- Issuing and printing prescriptions for signing and arranging for their collection.
- Liaising with recovery workers, support workers and other services about patient care and appointments.
- Supporting Clinicians to transfer relevant aspects of notes onto HALO System.
- Undertake any administrative actions requested by Service Manager.
