Job summary
We are
looking for a flexible, hardworking and committed Healthcare Assistant to join
our enthusiastic team, which care for a variety of patients of all ages. Every
day will provide new and exciting challenges for staff.
The position requires individuals with excellent communication and
interpersonal skills, with an ability to work under pressure, whilst delivering
a high standard of care to our patients. Teamwork is essential and you will
work alongside the clinician in the Dermatology and Vasectomy services.
The successful candidate will essentially be tidy, punctual and well organised,
able to demonstrate initiative and wanting to learn in this specialise field
but predominantly have a caring attitude.
Main duties of the job
Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist
in the organisation of clinics to ensure smooth and efficient operations
·
Set up
theatre room for procedures
·
Support
the clinician during procedures following sterile/non-sterile area protocol.
·
Manage
specimens and samples( completing request forms)
·
Ensure
theatre and trolleys stocked and work with deputy service manager to re-order
supplies
·
Provide
a high quality and skilled level care to patients in clinic.
·
To
provide relevant post-operative advice and information.
