Job summary

We are looking to welcome a motivated and enthusiastic salaried GP to join our friendly team. We can offer an attractive salary and would be pleased to provide more information and/or the option of an informal visit to meet our Practice team. Main duties of the job

We have 6 sessions available. We are looking for a professional who is committed to providing high standards of care and who will contribute to the development of the practice. This would be an ideal opportunity for a newly qualified GP who would be joining a supportive team in a well-established practice with excellent facilities and opportunities for personal development. A knowledge of, or interest in, Diabetes and/or Family Planning would be an advantage.

About us

We are a semi-rural dispensing practice of approximately 9,800 patients based in the historic market town of Evesham, on the edge of the Cotswolds, and with excellent transport links to Cheltenham, Stratford-upon-Avon, Birmingham, Oxford and London. We pride ourselves on promoting a traditional ethos of General Practice within a modern healthcare environment.

Skills and Knowledge

Essential

  • Strong clinical decision-making and autonomous practice skills.
  • Proficient in IT systems used in General Practice, including EMIS or similar.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to teamwork and collaborative working.
  • Dedication to high standards of patient care.
  • Organised, adaptable, and proactive in professional development.

Desirable

  • Interest in teaching, training, or mentoring within primary care.

Qualifications

Essential

  • MBBS or equivalent medical qualification.
  • Full registration with the GMC with a licence to practice.
  • On or eligible for inclusion on the NHS England GP Performers List.

Experience

Essential

  • Experience in General Practice or equivalent primary care settings.
  • Competence in managing undifferentiated presentations and long-term conditions.
  • Interest or knowledge in Diabetes management and/or Family Planning.

Desirable

  • Leadership in QOF or enhanced services initiatives.
  • Participation in audits and quality improvement projects.
