Job summary
We are currently looking for an individual able to work as part of the administrative team to support all administrative work undertaken at our practice. The post holder will need to provide a high quality, professional reception and administrative service to patients, doctors, staff, colleagues, health service professionals and others.
The role is part time, 25 hours per week, working 5 hours each day ( rota basis).
Main duties of the job
The main duties of the role will include :-
- General administration - including scanning, booking clinics, booking appointments, following practice procedures, etc
- Issuing repeat prescriptions
- Reception duties - greeting patients and consulting with members in the practice team, registration of new patients, answering the phone etc
- Security, Health & safety - assist in promoting and maintaining their own and others health, safety and security
