Job summary
We are currently looking to recruit a number of Apprentice
Nursing Associates to join SW Healthcare and work as part of Droitwich, Ombersley and the Rurals Primary Care Network.
The successful candidate will receive adequate training to
contribute to most aspects of general practice nursing providing hands-on
person centered care, working as part of a multidisciplinary team.
This role will be suitable to someone considering to development
existent competencies as Healthcare Assistant and considering initial steps
towards nursing career.
Successful apprentice will work full-time (no less than 30 hours per week) and this will include 4 days of work and 1 day for protected study. As part of the nursing associate apprentice programme
you will learn in the workplace and also at chosen University. You will
also be expected to attend blocks of alterative placements in other healthcare settings.
To be consider for this vacancy applicants will need to be living in
England and not in full-time education.
Main duties of the job
·
Be able to effectively communicate at all levels
of the organization to a variety of health professionals, users and carers,
independent and voluntary sector to provide the best outcomes for users of the
services.
·
Provide interface between hospital, primary,
community and social settings, participate where appropriate in clinical
meetings relating to patient care and outcomes
·
Communicate effectively with patients and carers
·
Be able to keep accurate contemporaneous
documentation, both written and computerized, inpatient records and will need
to be familiar with EMIS Web.
·
Recognize people’s needs for alternative methods
of communication and respond accordingly

- Relevant QCF Level 3 qualifications or equivalent or NVQ Level 3 in health related subject CERTIFICATES REQUIRED
- GCSE Englisha and Maths at Grade C/4 or above or Fuctional Skills Level 2 in English and Maths -CERTIFICATES REQUIRED
- If English is not the first language a minimum standard of Enlist at IELTS score of 6.0 (with no less than 5.5 in any component) will be required
Desirable
- It is desirable that applicants have evidence of study undertaken within the last 5 years

- Driving License and Own transport
- Occupational Health Clearance Required
- DBS certificate
