Job summary

SW Healthcare is currently looking to recruit a Deputy Site Manager who will split their time between the Malvern and Worcester Covid Mass Vaccination sites and will be operationally focused responsible for supporting the CVP Site Managers in ensuring a smooth operation across the vaccination centres. A key aspect of this role will be assisting with managing and coordinating the workforce, including resourcing and returning the workforce data. You will be a highly visible member of the team who is resilient to reactive work. You will also have responsibility for managing complaints and concerns in line with CQC requirements.

These are fixed term roles to 31 March 2022, however if the Covid Vaccination Programme is extended, there may be an opportunity to extend the role.

37.5 hours Monday - Sunday to work flexibly between the hours of 07:30am - 20:30pm

Main duties of the job

The successful candidate will be required to:

Deputise for the Site Managers in their absence and delivering the operations of the Covid Vaccination Programme

Adhere to LEAN standard operating procedures

Work with the Workforce Planning Team to create effective rotas in line with staff availability

Take full ownership of the daily reporting process (Foundry), inputting workforce and patient data, changes to staffing and returning to NHSE within the given deadlines

Resourcing, non-clinical training and motivating staff

Keeping up to date with legislation and taking legal responsibility for site in the absence of the Site Managers i.e. HSE Deputy Responsible Person, enforcing health and safety rules

To be IT confident and up to date with all basic systems, especially excel. Foundry, EMIS, Lantum and Sharepoint experience beneficial

Facilitating the onboarding of new staff within the PCN, setting up introductions to key stakeholders
