Job summary

MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT

HOURS: 22.5 hours per week

SALARY: £25,500 per year (£42,500 pro-rata)

LOCATION: Inclusion Healthcare

CONTRACT: Permanent

The main objective of this job role is to take responsibility for the maintenance of accurate accounting records for the company ensuring that underlying transactions are recorded in a timely and accurate manner to give an informed position of the companys financial affairs. You will serve internal customers through the production and interpretation of monthly management accounts and lead the forecasting and budgeting processes providing variance analysis and commentary to inform the SMT of the financial position. You will lead on ensuring that accounting estimates including prepayments, accruals and income recognition are in line with generally accepted accounting principles and that the balance sheet is regularly reviewed and reconciled. You will ensure that payroll is accurately calculated so that staff and necessary deductions are made accurately and that payovers to HMRC are made to meet their timeframe

Main duties of the job

  • Production of monthly management accounts for Inclusion Healthcare including split P&L

Balance sheets reconciliations overview and sign off

Processing the PCN funds and providing financial information to its members

Preparations of annual audit folder and presenting evidence to the external auditors

Production of the annual budget and forecasts

Oversee all month end routines, including income analysis

Processing monthly payroll and associated routines

Maintaining the organisations 2 pension schemes and all associated routines

Process the organisations payment runs

Overhead cost reporting to control and minimise cost where applicable.

Write and update accounting procedures and policies

Supervision of Finance Assistant

Any other ad hoc duties as required
