Job summary

Having grown rapidly both in supporting our PCNs and in the clinical services we provide we are looking to grow our finance team. This role brings the opportunity to work autonomously but with support and development from our Head of Finance and Senior Management Accountants and utilising our book keep team.

This job description is an outline of the tasks, responsibilities and outcomes required of the role. The job holder will carry out any other duties as may reasonably be required by their line manager.

This job description may be reviewed on an ongoing basis in accordance with the changing needs of the Organisation.

Main duties of the job

  • Producing management accounts including commentary
  • Accruals, deferred income and prepayments
  • Assisting with the production of the P&L
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Assisting with budgets and forecasting
  • Presenting accounts on a quarterly basis to each PCN Board Inter-company reconciliation and analysis

Proposed salary: Band 7.1 7.9 on the ABC pay scale, which is equivalent to £41,351.78 - £48,450.20 per annum dependent on experience (pro rata)

Hours of work: Part time or Full time considered 15 to 37.5 hours per week

Tenure: Permanent

Base: ABC HQ based in Horley, Surrey however we support remote flexible working and can provide everything needed for predominantly home working

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Producing management accounts including commentary
  • Accruals, deferredincomeand prepayments
  • Assisting with the production of the P&L
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Assisting with budgets and forecasting
  • Presenting accounts on a quarterly basis to each PCN Board
  • Inter-company reconciliation and analysis

The Management Accountant duties will be:

  • To take on full responsibility for the preparation and delivery of accurate and timely management accounts along with business commentary on aquarterlybasis to a high standard
  • The preparation of accurate P&L, Balance Sheet and variance analysis
  • Responsible for the preparation and review of the budgets and forecasts
  • Produce business cash flow
  • The review and posting of inter-company transfers
  • Development of systems and processes
  • Credit Control
