Job summary
The role is to provide administrative support to ABC’s new eHub service set up to sift, triage and where
appropriate manage online consultations on behalf of our practices using a provider called eConsult.
eConsult allows patients to submit symptoms or requests to their GP
electronically by completing an online form. eConsult also offers
self-help information, signposting to other services and a symptom checker.
Will work for all of ABC’s PCNs based at Clair Hall, Haywards Heath, West Sussex with scope/potential for
working from home at a later date and once fully trained.
Full time / Part time (Service coverage hours between 0800-1800 – Monday to Friday).
Fixed term for 6 months (will be reviewed for extension dependant on service requirement).
Main duties of the job
The team of administrators will be responsible for reviewing online consultations on behalf of our practices,
according to a clearly defined algorithm/pathway which will determine the most appropriate course of
action. This could be, for example, signposting to a pharmacy, forwarding to an ABC clinician to issue a
prescription or completing an administrative process.
