Alliance for Better Care is looking for a People Services Coordinator to join their friendly team.
We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual who will support the People Services Team in providing a professional, comprehensive and responsive service.
The successful candidate will join a team of four other People Service Coordinators and will be fully supported by the People Services Manager and Head of People Services.
This is a 1 year fixed term contract, with the potential to be made permanent.
This is a full-time position (37.5 hours per week) with the flexibility of Hybrid working.
Main duties of the job
Key
Responsibilities will include carrying out the full onboarding process for new
clinical and non-clinical staff. Ensuring documents are maintained securely as
per ABC Policy and keeping the Recruitment Matrix and
Associates Database up to date at all times. As part of the role you will be required to correspond with staff about governance
requirements and processes to aid forward planning and act as a point of contact for clinicians
and non-clinicians working in the services and offer HR advice and support.

- Carry out the full onboarding process for new
clinical and non-clinical staff.
- Identify employment status (i.e. FTC, Independent
Contractor, Zero Hours) and ensure necessary documents are collated and
validated
- Ensure documents are maintained securely as
per ABC Policy and employee information is kept up to date
- Ensure the Recruitment Matrix and
Associates Database are kept up to date at all times
- Share staffing figures where appropriate
with Operational Staff for the purposes of delivering care
- Support staff to access necessary training
as required for their role and offer advice to line managers
- Update payroll with new starters, leavers
and any changes to staff terms and conditions. Support payroll in
understanding employment status for each member of staff
- Support line managers to ensure 1:1s and
Appraisals are taking place as per ABC Policy
- Correspond with staff about governance
requirements and processes to aid forward planning
- Work with and support all of the ABC teams
- Act as a point of contact for clinicians
and non-clinicians working in the services and offer HR advice and support
- Collate feedback where possible
- Keep the Line Manager informed of any
unforeseen events or circumstances as appropriate including recruitment
delays
- Comply with the organisations directives,
policies and procedures and those in the Staff Handbook
- Comply with GDPR at all times
- Assist with posting job advertisements on
NHS Jobs, Indeed and LinkedIn and manage the selection process from
shortlisting to setting up interviews.
