Are you a registered Nurse who wants to make a difference in the lives of children, young people and families?
As a school staff nurse, your priority would be helping children, young people and families achieve positive health and wellbeing outcomes. You'll carry out a range of assessments, interventions and public health initiatives, working both independently and as part of a multi-agency team around the family. Safeguarding children is an integral part of the role.
You will provide information, advice and support to deliver an effective service that makes a difference. The wellbeing of children, young people and families is central to everything you do.
As a school nurse-led service we deliver the Healthy Child Programme. We identify and meet the health and wellbeing needs of the school-aged population and give individuals the best possible start in life.
The service operates Monday-Friday 09.00-17.00hr
Main duties of the job
We are looking for a nurses who can manage a caseload, undertaking holistic health assessments, providing evidenced based care and deliver a range of health interventions to individuals on either a 1:1 or group basis.
You must possess a full driving licence and have access to your own transport.
We are looking for nurses who will work creatively to meet each individuals needs and make every interaction meaningful. We want you to share our passion for promoting and protecting the health and wellbeing of every school-age child and young person.
