Job summary
We have an exciting opportunity for a maternity cover post for an experienced, resilient, and motivated Supervisor (with systemic orientation) who has a track record of excellent clinical skills to join our Systemic Integrative Treatment (SIT) team. SIT provides intensive community-based treatment for parents and carers of children aged 8-16, displaying moderate to severe behavioural difficulties, such as offending, school refusal and harmful sexual behaviour.
The postholder will work with a team that operate within a social-ecological model, drawing on a range of therapeutic modalities including Pragmatic Family Therapies, Behavioural Therapy, CBT, and other therapies as appropriate.
We are looking for experienced Clinicians who share our passion for delivering intensive treatment to keep young people at home, in education and out of the criminal justice and care systems. We are particularly interested in those who have experience in systemic models of therapy including Multi-Systemic Therapy (MST) and Structural/ Strategic/ Functional Family Therapy.

Full training in the SIT model will be provided to the successful candidate.

Main duties of the job
- The post holder will supervise a team of up to 4 SIT therapists, providing supervision and guidance on a range of evidence-based clinical interventions. They will exercise professional clinical judgement utilising psychological theory and evidence-based practice to ensure appropriate SIT methods and interventions deliver the best possible outcomes for families.
- Supervision duties will include individual supervision as needed, weekly group supervision, and participating in a week-on-week-off '2nd on-call' rota (available out-of-hours to therapists).
- The post holder will hold a caseload of 1-2 SIT cases. They will hold clinical responsibility for all cases within their team and have a senior lead role when working with other agencies and partners
- The post holder willcollaborate with referrers and stakeholders in the community and within the referring agencies to promote and educate about SIT
- The post holder willgenerate and manage case referrals and manage clinician caseloads alongside colleagues in the SIT team
- The post holder will collaborate actively with SIT Service Lead and Core Operations team around effective and timely implementation of SIT

continued development of own clinical skills and knowledge of relevant research

It is an intensive community-based family treatment model which works with the systems around the young person, including family, school and peers to address the causal and maintaining factors to the behaviour. Therapists work primarily with parents, in a collaborative and non-judgemental way, to empower them to effect change. There are two phases to the intervention:
