Job summary
We are seeking a flexible and supportive, detail-oriented Project Coordination Officer to join our friendly team during a period of growth and development at Bury GP Federation. This is a new post and the successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the AVS ( Acute Visiting Service) team and the wider BGPF team with confidential and efficient administration support.
This position requires strong organisational skills, the ability to work collaboratively with different teams, and proficiency in project management tools. The Project Coordination Officer will also be responsible for supporting the Operational Manager with the day to day running of clinics.
The role is full time - 37.5 hrs, Monday to Friday to be worked between core hours of 8am - 6pm. This is an Office based role, located in Bury centre, within the Bury Business Lodge complex.

Main duties of the job
- To provide cover for the AVS co-ordinator when they are not at work (approx. 2 days per week) and for holiday/sickness cover as required
- To provide an efficient and confidential administrative support service to BGPF and the wider team
- Maintain office systems, which contribute to the efficiency of the department
- Support the Operational Manager with the day to day running of clinics
- Provide support to projects undertaken by BGPF
Qualifications / Experience
- Proven experience in project support/admin officer or similar role
- Secretarial/admin experience in a busy office environment using excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience in arranging meetings, diary management, taking and distributing minutes
- Strong organisational skills with a keen attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Experience of producing/implementing office systems
- Previous NHS experience highly desirable
- An organised approach to work, prioritising and working to deadlines/ time constraints
- Able to use own initiative
